Resending the same invoice gets ignored. Resending it with a bold UNPAID stamp gets noticed, because it changes how the document looks in the inbox preview.
When to use it
- A first or second payment reminder.
- Internal tracking: stamp open invoices so they stand out in a shared folder.
- Handing a list of open invoices to a collections partner or your accountant.
Tips
- Orange is the convention for "action needed but not cancelled". Save red for VOID and PAST DUE.
- Add the original due date in the reference field (for example "Due 15 Oct"), so the client sees how late it is without opening their records.
- Keep it on page 1. The stamp should sit near the total. Drag it into place on the preview.
- Once payment arrives, stamp a fresh copy of the original as PAID. Don't stack stamps on top of each other.
If it's well past due, the PAST DUE stamp is firmer.
